Drivin' My Hybrid
03:14
|
|||
I'm drivin' my hybrid down to the corner store
then I'll get back in my car and then I'll drive some more
I got my sun glasses on, I've got my foot to the floor
in my 21st century car
I'm drivin' my hybrid to the county fair.
With all the windows rolled down, I'm gonna get some air
I've got my driving gloves on - they're a brand new pair
in my 21st century car!
I'm drivin' my hybrid,
I'm drivin' my hybrid,
I'm drivin' my hybrid,
I'm drivin' my 21st century car
I"m drivin' my hybrid down in to Central Park
then I'll get out of my car, I'm gonna take a walk
And then I'll get back in because it ain't no sin
to drive a 21st century car
I'm drivin' my hybrid down to the deep blue sea
And then I'll catch some waves, that's where I'm gonna be
Then I'll get back in my car, I'll drive it fast - I'll drive far
'cause I'm a 21st century star
I'm drivin' my hybrid,
I'm drivin' my hybrid,
I'm drivin' my hybrid,
I'm drivin' my 21st century car

The Continents
02:23
|
|||
Here’s a little song about the continents – and if you memorize them now you’ll gain some confidence and you’ll be smarter – a little smarter
There's
EUROPE
SOUTH AMERICA
AFRICA
AUSTRALIA
NORTH AMERICA
ANTARCTICA
and ASIA
SOME SAY EURASIA
AUSTRALIA is the smallest one
ASIA is the largest one
ANTARCTICA’s the coldest one
See learning 'bout them can be fun!

The Elements
02:12
|
|||
Did you know our Earth is made of many elements
And that's what gives our planet so much elegance
Like:
Oxygen
Silicon
Aluminum
Iron
Calcium
Sodium
Potassium
Magnesium
There's 117 elements in all
But that's a lot for me to ask you to recall
And I'm sure there's many other things you'd like to do
And the period table is a lot to chew
So, here's what I'll do
I'll just name a few...

Happy Earth Day
02:35
|
|||
It's Earth Day, it's Earth Day,
Its like the planet's very own birthday
Happy Earth Day
Happy Earth Day
The bluebirds are singing and the church bells are ringing
Because it's Earth Day, yes it's Earth Day
The rain stopped falling
Now summer's calling
And in our hearts we know there's something in the air
It's Earth Day, It's Earth Day
It's like the planet's very own birthday
Happy Earth Day
Happy Earth Day
The bluebirds are singing and the church bells are ringing
Because it's Earth Day, yes it's Earth Day
The sky is clearing
There's a rainbow appearing
And this planet is a gift that we all share
It's Earth Day
It's Earth Day, It's Earth Day - Its the planet's very own birthday
Happy Earth Day
Happy Earth Day
The sun is shining
And there's a silver lining
Oh, this planet is a gift that we all share.
It's Earth Day
It's Earth Day, It's Earth Day - It's like the planet's very own birthday
Happy Earth Day
Happy Earth Day

What About The Animals?
03:36
|
|||
What about the animals who live in this world too?
What about the animals - it's not just about me and you.
We should protect them. They're our responsibility.
What about the animals - Earth's amazing animals.
What about the animals?
Like the Black Rhino
Or the Giant Panda
Tigers from East Asia
The Yangtze River Dolphin
Or the Bactrian Camel
Or the Hairy nosed Wombat
The Riverine rabbit
Or the Green-cheeked Parrot
and the Mako Shark
These are all endangered animals
What about the animals who live in this world too.
What about the animals - it's not just about me and you.
We should protect them. They're our responsibility.
What about the animals? Earth's amazing animals.
What about the animals?
Like the Humpback Whale
Or the Giant Armadillo
Or the Pygmy Hippopotamus
The Panthers and the Jaguars
The Mountain Zebra
The Stellar Sea Lion
The Ring-tail Lemurs
Chimpanzees
The Asian Elephants
Or the African Wild Ass
These are all endangered animals
What about the animals who have a right to live here too?
What about the animals - There's only time to list these few
We should protect them. They're our responsibility.
What about the animals? Earth's amazing animals.
What about the animals? What about the animals?
Earth's amazing animals. What about the animals?
Earth's amazing animals...

The Oceans
02:02
|
|||
Let’s look at the oceans in the world
Let’s look at all the oceans in the world
The Pacific and Atlantic – first of which is quite gigantic
Let’s look at the oceans in the world
Let’s look at the oceans in the world
Let’s look at all the oceans in the world
The Atlantic and Pacific –
but to me specific –
the arctic and the southern and the Indian is the others
These are all the oceans in the world
The Indian and the Arctic – which is opposite of Antarctic
Let’s look at the oceans in the world
The Atlantic and Pacific,
but I’ll be more specific
The Arctic and the southern and
the Indian is the other
These are the five oceans of the world
The Indian is the smallest – The Arctic is the coldest
The southern and the Indian
Where you might some amphibian
And the Arctic and Atlantic
where the whales are gigantic
These are all the oceans in the world

Earthly Creatures
03:28
|
|||
Earthly creatures - we are lucky to share this world with you
Earthly creatures - you are beautiful, but you can be scary too.
Earthly creatures - it's an honor to share this world with you.
And something tells me that other planets - they wish that they could have you too.
You're swimming in the deep blue seas.
And flying over our heads.
You walk beside us down the street.
You share our couches and our beds.
You come in sizes big and small.
Sometimes you answer when we call.
And it is sad but it is true -
Sometimes we don't treat you as well as we ought to
Earthly creatures we are scared of some of you it's true.
But I was thinkin' - maybe it's because we don't understand
you.
Earthly creatures it's a privilege to share this world with you.
And something tells me - that other planets are jealous they don't have you too.
You serenade us in the trees
You sit on top of our heads.
You walk beside us on the beach.
Sometimes you tear our things to shreds.
You make this world a better place.
You put a smile upon my face.
And it is sad, but it is true -
Sometimes we don't treat you as well as we ought to.
You're swimming in our deep blue seas.
You're floating gently in the breeze.
You even pollinate our land.
I'm sure some day we'll understand.
That we'd be LOST without you here.
So please don't EVER disappear.
And it is sad but it is true -
Sometimes we don't treat you as well as we ought to.
Yes, it is sad, but it is true -
Sometimes we don't treat you as well as we ought to.

All In This Together
03:48
|
|||
We all live here together
we cannot escape
So let’s get along
Learn how to relate
because we’re all in this together
We all share this world
And we’re sailing through the universe
we’re orbiting the sun
on a silver blue space ship
we might as well have some fun
because we’re all in this together
We all share this world
Our planet is so special
so let’s prove that we care
If we could all join together
And work as one to repair
Or we could live here in fear
And all the wars could end here
if we all made a choice
if we could tolerate our differences
then everyone would rejoice
Because we’re all in this together. We all share this world
